Tiny Nation is a proud supporter of the Early Reading Together® workshop programme. A gold standard, research-based programme that helps whānau and educators support young children's literacy and enjoyment of language, whilst improving relationships. The course is designed to support the experiences children have with books, especially when being read to.
At our Tiny Nation team Hui earlier this year, our Visiting Teachers explored how to further support early reading in the community, through this programme.

Thanks Auckland team, for this update from your recent Tiny Explorer playgroup! 😍 Continuing a pre-literacy focus, the team combined the Early Reading Together® programme with a fun activity using coloured sticks and feathers. They enjoyed storytime by exploring and learning the letters of their names and reading names out loud. Making magical literacy links, creating connections and providing positive learning experiences! Ka pai Tiny Explorers! ♥️🌈
